Before joining The Ray, she worked in humanitarian mine action, managing a large and diverse portfolio of institutional funding across over 30 countries. Alex is also highly trained in regulatory compliance, financial management, and accounting principles. Her approach to grants management draws on this operational expertise and a deep understanding of programmatic needs to build strong partnerships that drive long-term impact. Alex holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from James Madison University.
