ATLANTA, GA — Renaissance94 (Ren94), a global social impact non-profit focused on advancing climate resilience for a sustainable future, launched earlier this year under the leadership of environmentalist and civil rights advocate Daniel Blackman. The organization brings together corporations, nonprofits, philanthropists, and climate activists with artists, athletes, and public sector leaders to catalyze action for lasting change.
The organization, supported by the fiscal sponsorship of The Ray, collaborates across industries, connecting leaders from the sports and entertainment industry with the philanthropic community for convenings, impact initiatives, and strategic media campaigns.
To mark its launch, Ren94 hosted an exclusive dinner, curated by the Michelin-starred team at Castellucci Hospitality Group. The event brought together an influential group of individuals from global organizations, as well as local sustainability and political leaders, influencers, and media professionals, to discuss their shared commitment to positive impact.
“Renaissance94 is a testament to the power of cross-sector collaboration,” said Ren94 Founder and CEO Daniel Blackman. “Real, measurable, change happens for our communities when we bridge the gap between Main Street and Wall Street. We’re excited to continue this work both locally and internationally.”
In a recent partnership, Ren94 joined forces with Support + Feed, a plant-based nonprofit founded by Maggie Baird, mother of Grammy-winning artist Billie Eilish. This collaboration leverages Ren94’s connections within the Southeast and Support + Feed’s global fanbase to host OVERHEATED ATL. The event, the first of its kind in North America, unites world-renowned climate activists, cultural leaders, and changemakers for a full day of action-focused programming inside State Farm Arena.

About The Ray
The Ray is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity and net-zero highway testbed located on 18 miles of Interstate 85 between Lagrange, Georgia, and the Georgia-Alabama state line. This stretch of interstate is named in memory of Ray C. Our mission is to reimagine how we connect our communities, our lives, and the world in a way that is safer, more responsive to the climate, more regenerative to the environment, and more capable of creating economic opportunity through innovative ideas and technologies that will transform transportation infrastructure. The Ray Highway is paving the way for a zero carbon, zero waste, zero deaths highway system to build a safer and more prosperous future for us all.
