RayDay is an annual celebration of the life and legacy of Ray C. Anderson (1934-2011) and is the Ray C. Anderson Foundation’s gift to the community. On October 16, 2023, RayDay hosted approximately 1,400 attendees at a picturesque meadow in Serenbe, Georgia, and like every year, entry was free and open for all to attend.
Festival goers enjoyed over 50 eco-exhibitor booths, carnival rides, hands-on activities, and animal exhibits. Last year’s event also showcased the most diverse electric vehicle (EV) lineup to date with onsite examples from Audi, Rivian, Chevrolet, Ford, and I Luv My EV—a local Serenbe-based startup.
The climate-neutral, zero-food-waste event, organized by GA-based production firm ideaLand and catered by Simply Food Trucks, was a fun-filled event that celebrated sustainability and brought not only the community but also The Ray staff and board members together to brighten our corner.
