By now, Troup County residents are most likely well familiar with The Ray C Anderson memorial highway – the 18-mile section of interstate 85 located between LaGrange and West Point. The Ray is an example of how the use of technology and trusted partnerships can provide cleaner and safer highways. It boasts the “best of the best” from around the world and just keeps getting better due to the practice of environmental stewardship an innovative ideas that continue to emerge through public, private, and philanthropic partnerships. The Ray includes partnerships with the Center of Innovation for Energy Technology, Georgia Department of Transportation, and The Ray C Anderson Foundation.
