Let’s drive the future.

The Ray started as an innovative 18-mile stretch of highway on Georgia’s I-85 and now partners nationwide to transform mobility into cleaner, safer infrastructure.

We’re on a mission.

The right-of-way along interstates and highways is an underutilized asset that can be repurposed to improve the natural connections between transportation and energy use. Our team of consultants has the expertise to integrate new technologies with reliable energy infrastructure, enabling transportation departments to leverage this as an innovative source of revenue.

What We Do

The Ray Highway is a proving ground for innovation.
Learn how we're scaling advanced transportation infrastructure across the country.

  • Motor vehicle accidents remain a major public safety challenge, but recent progress offers hope. Preliminary NHTSA data estimates 39,345 traffic fatalities in 2024, down 3.8% from 40,901 in 2023. This marks the first year since 2020 that fatalities have dropped below 40,000. While encouraging, safety continues to be a top mobility priority.

  • Energy infrastructure along transportation corridors offers a powerful solution to pressing energy challenges. By leveraging public land that is already available, we can bypass common hurdles like permitting delays and land acquisition challenges. This approach provides a ready-made national network for essential infrastructure, including high-voltage transmission lines, solar arrays, and electric vehicle (EV) charging hubs.
